Alex Uranga, Mexican-Spanish artist. Was born in México City in 1974, lives and works in Madrid, Spain. He studied Computer Science, Photography, Hispanic Literature and Art History. Since 1994 he has joined several art related workshops in Mexico and Spain, in disciplines such as poetry, performance art, video art, screen printing, engraving and drawing. He is a self-taught artist as well. His most recent works show a particular interest in colours as structural and aesthetic components, as well as a spontaneous, expressionist material application process.
